About
Peace, Love & Vintage is committed to preserving the history of the mid 1900's. We support this mission through selling authentic home decor, kitchen goods and glassware from primarily the 1950's-1980's. We also help clients achieve this look in their own homes, from small accents to full room designs. We are committed to sustainability and helping the environment, by giving new life to previous loved items and furniture. Also, a portion of merchandise sales goes to Love the Green Life, a 501c3 nonprofit that educates on sustainable practices and eco-friendly living.

Jess Taylor
Owner/Operator, Designer
I'm Jess Taylor, owner and operator of Peace, Love & Vintage. After 20 years of being a dance educator, I was faced with the reality of retiring in my 30's due to permanent joint damage. Starting a new career after 2 degrees and 20+ years experience in the field was crushing. I decided to take this new opportunity to start something that I have always been passionate about.
I grew up with my grandparent's caring for me often. As a young child, I was infatuated with their 1968 home. This is where my love of home decor, architecture and vintage goods began. I have a Bachelor of Arts in History that I am now putting to use when researching every piece I sell. I love sharing the history of the makers or passing on the personal history of an item someone once loved. Hearing why a customer is connected to something and being able to help keep the history of those decades alive and provide that nostalgia for people, but in a cool modern way is what drives me to do this.
I collect swung vases and have over 150! They are my favorite as each one is different. I also collect MCM cats, Blenko glass, Haeger pottery and have a love for kitchen and bar ware.
Jared Taylor
Shipper, Buyer and Number 1 Fan
I could not run this business without my amazing husband. He helps me with every aspect of this, including buying, packing and shipping, and supporting with anything that needs done.
Jared is a high school history teacher and uses that love of history to help curate items for PLV. He loves to find items and research them. He wants to learn all he can about an item, the maker, the time period and why it is still loved today!
Jared and I share a love of history and wanting to keep history alive. We both grew up with our grandparents caring for us and are lucky enough today to have a lot of their furnishings in our house. Both of us learned to love and cherish things that are old and not throw away to get the next best thing at the drop of a hat. Our grandparents instilled in us the love of sustainability and sentimental value. We share a goal of instilling this in our own child and the next generation.
Jared loves vintage lamps, swung vases and decanters. He loves MCM ashtrays and all the cool 50's & 60's tiki and beach souvenir items. Jared is an old soul and has a love for Frank Sinatra and The Rat Pack.
